Two welding forms of Hikelok: welding and butt welding

Welding is a very reliable connection method, which is widely used in industrial production in the world. The correct welding process can ensure that the welding joint is firm and leak free, so it can play a very important connection role.

There are two common forms of welding: socket welding and butt welding

Socket welding: insert the pipe into the step hole at the socket welding end and weld a circle on the outside to complete the socket welding connection. During socket welding, insert the pipe into the socket welding hole until it reaches the bottom, and then pull out the pipe by about 1.5mm (0.06in.), then carry out welding, which can avoid welding stress during welding.

Butt welding: the welding joints of weldments at both ends shall be opposite, and 1.5mm (0.06in.) shall be reserved. Then weld a circle along the joint to ensure that the pipe wall is fully welded to obtain reliable strength. As shown in the figure, the valve with butt welding connection can be butt welded with pipe, and the welded fittings can also be butt welded with pipe.
